Christina Rodriguez is an NYC-based performer, puppeteer, and puppet builder. She builds and performs with shadow puppets, hand and rod puppets, tabletop puppets, marionettes–and everything in between.
Her original puppet works have been featured at La MaMa, Standard Toykraft, Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, and classrooms in NYC and the Czech Republic. She toured nationally with “John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean” and with puppet improv troupe, Team Lopez.
Christina is the creator of ShakesBEARS–a mobile marionette show that introduces children to Shakespeare’s stories in a fun, visual, and unique way. She performs for events and play spaces in NYC and surrounding areas. Click here to learn more.
