Tour life continues!

This time we’re off to Savannah, GA as part of deFINE ART, an annual program of special exhibitions, lectures, and performances presented by Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Manufacturing Mischief was presented at the André Leon Talley Gallery at the SCAD Museum of Art. Creator Pedro Reyes joined us there and also had a joint exhibition at the museum with artist and ethical fashion designer, Carla Fernández–his wife!
It was a whirlwind trip, but we still found the time to explore this historic city.
Here are some highlights!
Did you know that downtown Savannah is home to 22 parks?

There are many historic staircases down by River Street. A great pace for a photo op!

However, this particular set of stairs reminds us of Savannah’s dark past. Rumored by a local to have been built by slaves, this treacherously steep set of stairs exacts it revenge on those who do not proceed with care.

Two words. NIGHT. LIFE.

A quick stop at (haunted) Six Pence Pub…

And then off to take the Paranormal Tour at the (very haunted) Sorrel-Weed House. The tour was definitely creepy! But more than that it was informative and respectful toward all former inhabitants of the house.
Oh, yeah. Did I mention we did a show?
The end.
